LiveALife Inc. (“LiveALife”) sets forth this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) relating to the treatment of Users’ information, including but not limited to personal information, during the performance of all services relating to Omotena (“Services”) provided by LiveALife as follows.

This Policy applies to Users’ use of the Services. Please only use the Services after Users have read and understood this Policy as well as various terms, etc. established by LiveALife. Users’ use of the Services constitutes Users’ consent to this Policy, and LiveALife will handle Users’ information based on Users’ consent.

  1. User’s Information to be collected

    For purposes of this Policy, “User’s Information” means personal information that identifies Users and other information created or accumulated in relation to User or Users’ devices, which shall be collected by LiveALife pursuant to this Policy. Depending on the method of collection, the User’s Information includes:

      • name;

      • gender;

      • date of birth;

      • country of residence and language;

      • photographs;

      • User’s login ID and password, etc. (including User’s authentication information for the external linkage function, if any, that the User uses to log in); and

      • other information entered by the User into registration form as designated by LiveALife;

    2. information collected by the Company for the use by the User of the Services

      • information relating to the User’s communication terminal (geolocation information, ID information to the User’s terminal, type of browser, etc.);

      • IP address; and

      • other information to be collected using cookies, etc.

  2. Purpose of use

    LiveALife uses the User’s Information that LiveALife collected within the following intended uses:

    1. Confirmation of the User’s identity

    2. Management of the status of provision and use of the Services

    3. Implementation of sweepstakes and campaigns, etc.

    4. Research, statistics, analysis, etc. of marketing data

    5. Providing payment service

    6. Continuous improvement of the Services

    7. Responding to the User’s inquiries, etc.

    8. Contacting the User where necessary for the operation of the Services, such as giving important notices about the Services

    9. Detection and mitigation of, and preventive measures against, fraudulent or illegal activities (including breaches of our terms, etc., unauthorized access, cyber-attacks, scams, and other illegal or potentially illegal activities).

  3. Contracting out the handling of the User’s Information

    LiveALife may contract out the entire or partial handling of the User’s Information it collects from the User to a third party within the scope necessary for the achievement of the purpose of use. In this case, LiveALife conduct necessary and appropriate supervision of the contractors.

  4. Provision of personal information to third parties

    LiveALife may provide the User’s bank account information, account information, etc. to a financial institution, collection agency, etc. through which deposits, etc. are made. If LiveALife provides the User’s personal information included in the User’s Information to a third party other than the aforementioned case, it will do so only after identifying the party to whom the User’s personal information is to be provided and the contents of the User’s personal information to be provided and obtaining the User’s consent, except in the following cases;

    1. Cases in which the provision of personal information is based on the laws;

    2. Cases in which the provision of personal information is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of an individual and in which it is difficult to acquire the consent of the User; and

    3. Cases in which the provision of personal information is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of an individual and in which it is difficult to acquire the consent of the User.

  5. Disclosure of personal information

    When a User request disclosure, correction of content, addition or deletion, stopping use, erasing, and stopping provision to the third party of the User’s own personal information, LiveALife responds to such request without delay. Please inquire from the “9. Contact” for details.

  6. Use of statistical data

    LiveALife may, based on the User’s Information collected from the User, create statistical data processed into a form by which no specific individual can be identified within the scope necessary to achieve a utilization the purpose of use. LiveALife may freely and without any restriction use such statistical data by which no specific individual can be identified.

  7. Third-party websites

    LiveALife cannot assume any responsibility for any provision, collection, etc. of personal information taking place on third-party websites. Please check applicable privacy policies on the respective companies’ websites before using these websites at the User’s own discretion.

  8. Revision

    LiveALife may revise this Policy in whole or in part without notice. Any important change will be announced on the Services.
